Since 2002 every last july saturday is hold T.A.T. (Turiec Amateur Triathlon), a race where the participants have to swim 1000m in a swimming pool , overcome 40km by bicycle and 10km by their own feet. The first year 26 sport enthusiasts took part in this race. The second year there were already 102 participants. This number surprised us very pleasantly and for the satisfaction of the demand we decided to continue in organizing further annual races and build up a T.A.T. tradition. Our target is to improve amateur triathlon and make it more popular in Slovakia.
